Rapper Travis Scott recently collaborated with McDonalds in order to surprise fans with his favorite meal from the fast food chain. At just 28 years old, he has won the BET Award for Best Collaboration, Billboard Music Award for Best Streaming Song and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Soundtrack.

On Sep. 8, McDonald’s gave their customers a massive surprise 10 days before National Cheeseburger Day, which falls on Sep. 18: the release of famous rapper Travis Scott’s go-to meal, dubbed the Travis Scott Burger, or the Travy Patty. Travis Scott, The BET award winner

for his album “Astroworld,” debuted his favorite burger-fry-drink combo. It features a quarter pound of fresh beef (straight up!) along with bacon, onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, ketchup, mustard, tangy barbecue sauce and exactly two slices of cheese. He also enjoys a medium fry, and to wash it all down, Cactus Jack drinks a medium Sprite, but mostly to cool down after producing all of that heat in the studio.

I figured that since it was National Cheeseburger Day I had an excuse to convince my mom to let me get McDonald’s. Pulling up to the drive through window and waiting for the moment I could dig in and start eating was definitely a testament to my sanity. Luckily, McDonald’s is always freaky fast (sorry Jimmy Johns), so it wasn’t long until I was handed the greasy smelling bag that millions of Americans crave every day. I decided that if I was going to eat his meal, I had to play one of his albums as a tribute, and what better one to play then “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.” With the album blasting around me, I felt a sense of euphoria. Taking the first bite of the burger mixed with the tangy barbecue was incredible. Maybe it’s the fact that Scott was playing and that I hadn’t eaten lunch, but the crispy bacon mixing with the melted cheese and the sweetness of the pickles cutting through it all resulted in an amazing creation that I don’t want to forget.

All in all, this burger has definitely been making fans go “Sicko Mode” for the intense flavor combination. It was the perfect collaboration between McDonalds and Travis Scott, especially for National Cheeseburger Day. If you are looking for a simple yet succulent meal, I would recommend getting the burger because what do you have to lose! Let’s just hope that somewhere in the future, we see a new album release from Scott with a special feature from Ronald McDonald!
