Neuqua Valley organized a panel for the students to sit and sign their National Letters of Intent.
National Signing Day commemorates the student athletes who sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI) for an athletic scholarship at a university’s athletics program. After signing, they have officially committed to one year at their respective university. Today, Nov. 11, 2020, fifteen Neuqua Valley student athletes officially signed their NLI. Megan Ciezczak smiles as she signs her NLI for University of Kentucky. From Coach Niforatos: "You can easily tell by the swims at the section meet that she put the time in."
Yale commit John Poulakidas shoots and scores as he officially signs his National Letter of Intent. From Coach Cebrzynki: When John attended Neuqua's Basketball camps as a child, "I remember telling Coach Sutton we have a special player... This guy right here is going to grow up to be an exceptional basketball player."
Katelyn Nardulli kicks the ball into her goal as she signs her NLI for Xavier University. From Coach Moreau: "We've just been so blessed to have Katelyn... Coach Lee at Xavier is going to be very happy to have a player of your caliber."
Aiden Green hits a home run with his commitment to Indiana Wesleyan University. From Coach Thornton: "I've had the pleasure of watching him grow for four years... I can honestly say that he has done everything that we have asked of him... he has developed into the leader that we thought he could be."
Riley Ammenhauser looks ecstatic as she signs her NLI for University of Michigan. From Coach Hartmann: "We are here to celebrate a moment that we were anticipating for the last four years; it was just a matter of who Riley was going to choose."
Holden Charboneau flashes a rewarding smile at the camera as he signs his NLI for Seton Hill University. From Coach Maluta: "It's been a great process seeing you grow and excel... we look forward to your future at Seton Hill."
Nicolas Dovalovsky crosses the finish line and signs his NLI for University of Illinois. From Coach Adkins: "Your dominant performance... throughout your career... has been quite extraordinary, and we wish you the best wearing the orange and blue."
Jimmy Senese comes up for a breath as he officially commits to University of Tampa. From Coach Allen: "He always rises to the challenge, you know... he's a big time swimmer. University of Tampa is going to be happy to have him."
