Kamala Harris is a former California Attorney General, prosecutor and current senator. She hopes to present herself as someone who will fight for the middle class and minorities, with laws such as her LIFT the Middle Class Act, a widespread tax cut for families making under one hundred thousand dollars. Her main issues are reforming the criminal justice system and being an “advocate for the voiceless and vulnerable,” according to her campaign website.

Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren is a Massachusetts senator running for president. She drew national attention after President Donald Trump drew doubt on her Native American heritage. She is hoping to rally voters behind a message of addressing income inequality and larger corporations that she sees as a threat to the American middle class. She also hopes to address climate change as is evident through her backing of the New Green Deal.

Joe Biden

Joe Biden is the former Vice President and a former Delaware Senator. Although he has not yet announced a bid for president, he has hinted at the topic many times. Well known as Barack Obama’s Vice President, Joe Biden is a popular choice among many Democrats. Donald Trump

A former Senator and Federal Prosecutor, Bill Weld ran for Vice President on the Libertarian ticket in 2016. He calls himself a moderate conservative and has clashed with Trump multiple times.
