Every year, Neuqua Valley is visited by College Representatives from colleges and universities around the nation. During the school day, students have the opportunity to meet representatives and watch presentations about their schools. These presentations are a great way to gain information about a school they would like to attend.
College is an important chapter of a student’s life so the decision of where to attend is a difficult one. These visits have the ability to change a student’s idea of whether or not they want to go to a school and can even spark interest in a new school. Visits give a quick rundown of the school and provide students with handouts containing extra information.
Students can attend visits during their option periods or, if a school they are interested in has a visit at a different time, students can coordinate with their teachers and still attend.
The calendar for college visits can be found on nvhsguidance.com and students can sign up on schoolinks.com.
